Casey Family Programs

Strengthening families and building communities of hope.

Casey Family Programs (CFP) provides services to children, youth and families through its field offices, and works with child welfare and other public systems across the country.  CFP operates its Georgia / Southeast U.S. Systems Improvement Office at the Complex; CFP will not provide services to children, youth or families at the Complex and will not participate in any services or decision-making regarding children, youth or families served by other Collaboration Partners in the Complex.

CFP office space in the Complex will house its Senior Director primarily responsible for interfacing and providing consultation to the Georgia and Alabama systems.  The Senior Director will also perform other system improvement consultation services in furtherance of CFP’s 2020 Goals: Communities of Hope and its state plans for Georgia and Alabama.

CFP will operate its Leadership Initiative out of the Complex. This work will be accomplished by serving as a hub / portal of executive leadership development, particularly around support and innovation in child welfare at the legislative, executive, and judicial levels.   When combined with resources from other regional organizations, CFP’s work in the Complex will allow the opportunity for connecting leaders in emerging topics. CFP will organize and facilitate convenings for National and jurisdictional leaders  as well as provide technical assistance and consultation to leadership challenges and emerging crises.

In addition, CFP will evaluate the process for creating the Collaboration. As part of this process, CFP will chronicle the formation of the Collaboration based on the review and analysis of reports, assessments and other documents, and interviews with members of the Collaboration. CFP will also facilitate the development of shared outcome tracking tools.  The evaluation of this faith-based initiative will not only assist the Collaboration in achieving its mission in Georgia, but also will allow CFP to learn from and spread the model to other communities as part of its 2020: Building Communities of Hope mission.
